Adverb any qualifier of an adjective, verb, clause, sentence, or other adverb, Therefore the function of adverb is to give more information about a verb.

Adverbs of time	Then, now, After, afterwards, before, later.
Adverbs of frequency	Rarely, never, forever, regularly, constantly.
Adverbs of duration	Temporarily, indefinitely, long, overnight, always.
Adverbs of place	Overseas, nearby, inside, alongside, northward.

Adverbs of degree	tremendously, hugely, virtually, enormously,
